I want you

But will you do anything to make it upto me?

But will you hold my tears?

But will you be my strength when I am burdened?

But will you be there so solve the mess between us?

But will you love me each day like you never loved me before?

But will you take a war against time or will you hold the time?

But will you keep me in shadow?

But will you give me my space when I need?

But will you go against to let my crazy in by letting yours in?

But will you make it right in wrong time?

But will you stay alone to be together?

But will you kiss my forehead?

But will you try to visualize the funny incident, I am bad at picturing?

But will you make me see the mirror?

But will you be as clear as the beat?

But will you be ready to take the chance of hurting me?

But will you be ready to imagine me die?

But will you be ready to imagine me lie?

But will you be ready to imagine me with wings?

But will you be ready to see me fade?

But will you be ready to visit my god?

But will you be ready to throw away your ego to fight mine?

But will you be ready to take a chance of getting hurt?

But will you be ready to be with  me?

But will you be ready to want me?

Life in Little Boxes

Little boxes of life

There was a soul. That learnt to stay mum. That compromised.

It learnt to not demand, but yet a voice within told it to ask. Yet, there always was a question – What is it that soul is scared to confront?

The question never had an answer for it till today.!

The answer was simple yet puzzle some and as scary as a dentist to a child.

The answer was – Little piled up Boxes.

Each box contained a part of soul.

Each contained a visitor that soul never wanted to visit again.

Yet each visitor was endear and the soul never wanted to throw the visitor away.

A box contained soul’s love.

A box contained soul’s fruit.

A box contained soul’s tree.

A box contained soul’s lamp.

A box contained soul’s shadow.

A box contained soul’s nerves.

But among all the most soul feared was the balance of the pile of boxes.

But did the soul get what it wanted?

Did the soul achieve what it achieved?

NO.

The fear of balance remained and continued only to win.

Should the damaged soul make it’s damage it’s strength?

Should the damage be allowed to win?

Or should the damage be rubbed again and again till the soul gets a spark from it.

Bi-Polar: Fear and Courage

Shiny Happy Shah

We have our limitations.
We have our hesitations.
We have our roadblocks.
We have our failures.

We have those hopeless days.
We have those sleepless nights.
We have those feeble moments.
We have those broken hearts.

We live in darkness.
We live in fear.
We live in seclusion.
We live in a cage.

—-

Stepping out in the sun.
Our eyes wrinkle at the sight of light.
At the thought of brightness.
The very first ray.

Absorbing the free wind.
Our legs restrain themselves, in apprehension.
At the thought of taking a step.
Taking a step forward.

Impatient, the beating heart breaks out of the cage and jumps out and sings a melody in a passionate glee…

And it hops away into wanderlust.
Only to make us live.

This day. This moment.

This day. This moment. I have a rush within me. This rush wants me to just scream out loud through my blog and rate Janta(People) I observe around on the basis of their fashion sense. This rating is solely for people in India and with respect to Indian fashion awareness context.

But Before I get to that. Let me define fashion here:

Indians very rare to experiment. And when experiment they indulge themselves so much that they forget to draw the line. Ouch! Now that’s the downside of everything in life. Somehow also, since generations we have been in a societal system where it matters a lot to us to get accepted in subtlety by a very subtle(hopefully) society. But, we fail to do that with our fashion sense. Otherwise why will we have fashion disasters committed  by “Fashion Stylists” who style the faces of India representing our nation at international podiums. (Fashion Stylists now no offense to you but I really feel most of suck at your job and are trying too hard. Unless you are Pernia Qureshi. On a scale of 10 she bags 6 from me. Woman has got her colors and combination of patterns right to a larger extent.)

So, this is what I have understood after trying to understand Indian Janta that we are following to large extent american icons. (The last thing we should be doing). Look at EUROPEANS!!!!! Anyways, coming to Americans again. They are still trying to get the Parisian look right. And then you know how it gets fucked up in the chain.

So here are few tips I think you all can use.

  1. Make up your own mind. And don’t follow someone’s style blatantly. And take time to realize that  YOU are the statement. Your Clothes are just an accessory that you need to accessorize your look. I really hope some of these fashion bloggers take this point and just help themselves before trying to be a fashion blogger.
  2. Most of the time the color combinations end up being so loud that urgh! never mind. So, Accessories should be loud. But, having more than three loud pieces at one point in time. YOU are a kill!! And trust me everyone goes wrong there and don’t know where to draw the line. But if practiced unconsciously you might just get it right. Let yourself go.  Moral being, let your conscious go and just be your subtle self.

Now, coming to rate Janta part of it. Trust me, here are few people you can follow I guess. But the only thing is that they are never posting their dressed up pictures, so you might have to follow them literally out in person, online following ain’t going to help. Also, none of them are any sort of fashion circle people. They are people from everyday walk of life. Just observed by me. Well call me a creep maybe, but they are effortlessly dressed, very subtle and yet beautiful.

  1. Joono Simon – No man I have ever seen gets the combinations of Black, Blue, White and Grey as perfect as him ever. Now, you must think there is not much to do with those shades but yeah there is. Before combining these colors you really need to think, if you have any understanding of color theory you will understand what I am trying to say here. Oh my and how the hell did I miss his Shoes! Look at them. Classics!! Neat. And Leather.!
  2. Satbir Singh – Men you can learn color experimentation from this gentleman. He is one of those few men I have observed who can rock the Pink Shirt with Brick colored pants. Oh boy he should never read this observation note. (Disadvantages of mentioning your boss)
  3. Abhay Chebbi – Another man I observed. I was this away from writing Gentleman Abhay! Love you Mwah :* ;). He is the safe guy you see at board meetings yet experimental. Look at him for your Versace’s to Armani’s to Paul Smith. He is careless, yet gets it right when it comes to fashion. And somehow picks up those safe pieces very often which end up looking really amazing on him. (You want to stalk him on Facebook and look at his shirtless back picture and look for his Louis Vuitton Shades)
  4. Nayantara Shah – You want that comfortable everyday look without much fashion extravaganza. Ok I am partial towards her. But she dresses up comfort and trust me on that. You want to learn from her how to combine your T shirts and tops together with those jeggings and throw it with flats or maybe flops and still manage to rock it. Trust me to look so comfortable yet friendly is very rare and not every woman I know can pull it off. I doubt if even I can.
  5. Sarah Coles– She is smart, and witty. She is your woman.! You want to experiment? Look at her. I get her fashion equation right there. She is ready to experiment. Throw at her any thing and she will just carry it with utmost comfort. And OMG she is pretty too. Look at her from top to bottom and you know she is not overdoing her style instead just adding a OOmph to your environment. And Btw most of the women I see wearing animal prints, I just want to puke, but I don’t know, how she manages to look just right in animal prints. They just look amazingly lovely on her.
  6. And I guess the lady I am going to mention here doesn’t really need any write up. But Check her out Amrita Barthakur. Single mom, Lawyer, Pretty and Oh whatever she wears I am always like. Omg You are so pretty!

Haa and with this Rush within I has calmed down. So tata bye bye. I hope this blog post helps or is interesting for some of you to read.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!!
